Memory Care at The Reserve is designed for the full range of dementia stages. We don’t put residents in the position of finding a new community when their condition advances. Care plans are reviewed regularly and adjusted as needs evolve, always with family involvement and always with the goal of maintaining the highest possible quality of life and dignity.

Our approach draws on specialized Memory Care programming that’s individualized to each resident. What works for one person won’t work for another, and our team is trained to recognize the difference.

Families are active partners in Memory Care at The Reserve, not distant observers. Our family communication approach includes regular care conferences, direct access to the care team, and proactive outreach when something changes. We don’t wait for families to call with concerns.

Yes. All three levels of care exist within the same community at The Reserve at Falls Church. If your loved one moves in at the Independent Living or Assisted Living level and Memory Care later becomes the right fit, that transition happens within the same community, among the same staff they’ve already come to know.

Transitions are handled in partnership with families and are paced carefully. A move to Memory Care doesn’t mean starting over.

Couples can remain at The Reserve while receiving different levels of support. Differing care needs don’t require separation, either from each other or from the community. Our care team works with both partners to build a plan that honors their relationship while ensuring each person gets the right level of care. You won’t be forced to choose between staying together and getting appropriate support.
